Our Ayrshire-based manufacturing facility is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to drive maintenance excellence and support a high-speed production environment. Purpose of the Role:
To lead and support the engineering team in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving manufacturing equipment, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
Are you who we’re looking for?
You have a time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in manufacturing.
Strong background in maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced production environment.
Either proven leadership experience as an Engineering Team Leader or a Maintenance Engineer looking to take the next step into leadership.
Ability to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritize workload, and drive continuous improvements.
A proactive problem-solver who can respond quickly to breakdowns and implement long-term solutions.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead a team while working collaboratively with other departments.
Committed to Health & Safety, compliance, and efficiency improvements.
