Engineering Supervisor Annual Salary: £50,000 + Overtime Location: Sittingbourne Job Type: Full-time, Days (Monday - Friday)We are seeking an Engineering Supervisor to join a leading FMCG manufacturer based in Sittingbourne. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong leadership qualities and hands-on mechanical and electrical knowledge, looking to advance their career in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Day-to-day of the Engineering Supervisor role: Oversee and lead the engineering team, ensuring efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems. Actively participate in hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal plant operation. Implement and supervise maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and reduce downtime. Train and develop team members, enhancing their skills and performance. Required Skills & Qualifications of the Engineering Supervisor: Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical or electrical background, with hands-on experience in both areas preferred. Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating and leading a team. Experience in FMCG industry is highly advantageous. Ability to work effectively under pressure and make informed decisions.
