Engineering Project Manager BRIEF OVERVIEW - Role: Project Manager - Location: Hampshire - Role type: Permanent - Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 DOE Recruit 12 has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Project Manager to lead key projects with an industry-leading high-end manufacturer, operating across various industries involved in advanced engineering projects. The role involves planning, coordination, and ensuring project deliverables align with scope, budget, and timelines. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role, so applicants must have the rights to work in the UK with no restrictions to be considered. RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage and communicate project plans with internal teams and clients to meet expectations. - Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and budget control throughout the project lifecycle. - Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely solutions are implemented and communicated effectively. - Organise and chair project meetings, both internally and with external stakeholders, to maintain alignment. - Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure clarity and traceability. - Drive quality standards and continuous improvement across project management processes. - Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services. - Monitor supply chain performance and resolve any challenges affecting project timelines or budgets. - Support junior team members by assigning tasks and providing guidance based on their skills and experience. REQUIRED SKILLS - Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or similar). - Proven project management experience in a technical or manufacturing environment. - Strong organizational skills, including planning and prioritizing resources effectively. - Excellent communication skills for engaging internal and external stakeholders. - Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office. DESIRABLE (NOT ESSENTIAL) - Experience in power electronics or related manufacturing processes. - Familiarity with quality standards like ISO9001 or IATF16949. - Knowledge of advanced problem-solving techniques (e.g., FMEA, 8D). - Understanding of engineering drawings and schematics. - Experience in managing multi-discipline projects and resource planning
