Job Description

Our client is part of a global company, based in Trafford. They are looking to recruit an experienced commercially minded Engineering Administrator with SAP experience. The ideal person will come from an engineering / manufacturing environment and be familiar with the terminology such as Planned & Preventative Maintenance (PPM), RAMS etc.. Duties: Provide maintenance administrative support. Develop new Maintenance Management System. Plan maintenance activities, reactive repairs and improvements across two sites. Ensuring routine preventative plant maintenance is carried out as necessary and in a timely manner. Prioritise maintenance requirements to suit business needs. Ensure that team members have an adequate workload daily. Ensure that works raised at daily production meetings are progressed and captured within the MMS. Develop meaning full KPI’s based on maintenance activities. Working with Contractors. Reviewing RAMS and issuing of permits to work. Organise contractor(s) for both preventative & reactive works. Identify any site services and/or maintenance requirements that arise and communicate to the relevant person – i.e. Site Services team, contractors Production Planner, H&S. Ensuring routine maintenance is conducted as necessary. Ensure that health and safety guidelines and practices are maintained and developed. Ensure that contractor(s) work in a safe manner in line with RAMS. Identify team members are adequately trained and informed of all relevant Health & Safety. Member of H & S committee. Add issues arising from H & S meetings to Maintenance Management system as required. Is this you ? Able to deal with ever changing priorities. Knowledge of Health & Safety. Administration experience in a manufacturing / engineering environment. Microsoft office experience.
