Job Description

Employment lawyer sought by leading Legal 500 firm which enjoys an excellent reputation for both the quality of its clients and for being a genuinely nice place to work! The firm is seeking to bolster its highly-regarded team through the recruitment of an employment lawyer likely to have accrued circa 3yrs PQE or equivalent, and who will have dealt with a range of contentious and non-contentious matters for a primarily respondent-weighted client base. You will be a self-starter looking for top quality work and with experience of employment law matters including: - Drafting of employment contracts, policies and staff handbooks - Advising on a range of discrimination claims, including those relating to age, sexual orientation, gender and disability - Exit strategies and packages for executives, including restrictive covenants - Whistleblowing claims - Restructuring, redundancies and TUPE, as well as corporate support matters You will be looking to take on a challenging employment lawyer role within a firm which is recognised as a leading player within this field. The employment team works across a number of offices and this opportunity can be based out of various sites across the East Midlands and East Anglia.
