Employer Engagement Coordinator Location: East London Type: Full time, Hybrid Reporting to: Head of Partnerships Salary: £30k-£32kDovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in East London. Role Purpose Help young people overcome challenges and gain work experience and job opportunities. Build strong partnerships with businesses to create career pathways. Support individuals in developing skills and confidence for long-term success. Responsibilities Find and secure work placements and apprenticeships by building relationships with businesses. Attend events, make calls, and network to connect with employers. Match individuals with suitable roles, prepare them for interviews, and support them in their placements. Ensure employer sites are safe and provide proper supervision. Maintain accurate records and ensure systems are up-to-date. Promote the benefits of the service to employers and gather feedback to improve. Requirements Experience working with employers to create job opportunities. Sales and relationship-building skills at senior levels. Ability to manage time, solve problems, and think strategically. Knowledge of working with young people facing challenges like unemployment or lack of education. Familiarity with safeguarding practices and willingness to keep skills updated.
