Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting an international manufacturer on the appointment of an Electronics Test Engineer. The main focus of the role is to develop and maintain test systems (including hardware and software) and provide day to day production support. The Test Engineer also has involvement in improvement projects and introducing new equipment and new products into production.
Responsibilities
* Day to day support of production, trouble shooting issues with automated test systems
* Proactively identifying opportunities to improve current test system
* Investigation of test failures
* Participating in longer term team projects
* Setup and maintain electrical measurement systems.
* Design and construct test hardware.
* Modify/generate test code to control instrumentation and perform automated testing.
* Develop an understanding of the production test machinery.
Person Specification
* Minimum Degree in Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
* Proactive attitude with a hands on approach
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
* Organisational, planning and program skills
