Job Title: Electronics Development Engineer Location: Derby (Derbyshire, East Midlands) Salary: £50,000 - £80,000 per annum Great Benefits Package – See Below   Company Overview & Job Title: An award-winning & successful engineering company based in Derby (Derbyshire, East Midlands) that produces top-class products and high-quality technology for industries such as Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Manufacturing, and many more is now seeking to hire a brand-new Electronics Development Engineer to join the team and business. This a genuine exciting opportunity because the Electronics Development Engineer will have a route to grow into a Team lead for career progression.   Salary on offer and working onsite and hybrid: The salary on offer for the successful Electronics Development Engineer is £50,000 - £80,000 per annum. For the first 6 months of onboarding, the role will be in full time in the office 5 days a week then after will be hybrid working of 3 days onsite and 2 days WFH.   The role: This is an exciting role because the ideal Electronics Development Engineer will have a strong background in electronics for complex systems. The Electronics Development Engineering role will embrace designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electronics architecture for company’s high-quality products. This role will have a collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, advanced solutions.   Electronics Development Engineer Key Skills: 3-5+ minimum industry experience Electronics Circuit Design (analogue & digital) PCB Design & Schematic Capture Exposure or knowledge of Altium - not essential, but good to have Embedded Software programming in C Experience of VHDL for FPGA designs Experience of FPGA development tools Experience with electronics simulation tools Enthusiastic, motivated, good problem-solving skills Good team player with good communication skillsBenefits Package: Normal holiday entitlement is 26 days plus bank holidays a year: including office closure days over the Christmas period. Pension in the current scheme equates to an 8% contribution (3% from the employer and 5% from the employee). Discretionary bonus scheme – 5% of salary.  Following the probationary period, we provide: Income Protection – this will provide 75% of your salary (after a 13-week deferred period) should you ever have a long-term illness. Life Assurance – a lump sum of 4 x your salary. Normal hours of work will equate to 37.5 hours per week.
