Job Description

Electronic Design Engineer | £40-55k | Reading | Hybrid | Med-Tech A leading medical technology company is seeking an Electronic Design Engineer to join their high-performing R&D team. You'll be working on the next generation of cutting-edge medical devices, with strong investment in research & development (R&D) and a newly approved innovative product in the pipeline. Key Responsibilities: + Design, develop, and implement electronics and embedded software, supporting the R&D team. + Ensure designs meet medical device standards & regulatory compliance (training provided). + Select components for PCB design and develop embedded software for advanced embedded electronics. Essential Skills & Experience: + Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent HNC + experience). + Experience with analogue & digital circuit design. + Proficiency in embedded C/C++ within a Windows or Linux environment. + Confident using schematic capture & PCB layout tools. Desirable (Bonus) Skills: + Knowledge of BS EN 60601 & 62304 medical device standards. + Experience with version control (Subversion, Git, etc.). + Proficiency in KiCAD for PCB design.
