Major Recruitment are currently seeking electronic assemblers for our client based in the Skelmanthorpe area of Huddersfield If you would like to work for a local Yorkshire manufacturer who are a supplier of PCB's and Electronics Assemblies, please read on and apply! The role includes PCB assembly, Cable and wiring loom assembly, Chassis and Electromechanical assembly, high level, semi-skilled and skilled technical production assembly work: PCB assembly including SMT, standard THP and fine pitch work, component placing and solder Cable working including cutting, stripping, crimping and solder using a wide range of cables and connectors from simple to high specification assemblies to IPC Level 3 standard Panel wiring and work on cable and metal assemblies This is quite technical, intricate work, basic repeat jobs to learn and get faster each time. Ability to listen, understand, learn and follow instructions. They will learn various tasks including how wire a loom board and crimp, skills which are transferable to future job roles. Good eye sight, good careful hand coordination, cannot be colour blind, ability to stand at a board/loom most of the day, OK to do repetitive work and self-discipline to improve speed with every job. Their time will be measured and expectations are they get faster each time until they reach 100% productivity, all with training.Working 8.30am to 4.26pm Monday to Friday with overtime optional INDAC
