Job Description
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Electrician to join North Northamptonshire Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week.
Location: Kettering and Corby, North Northamptonshire
Pay Rate: £25 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Length: 3 months, with potential for extension
Working Hours:
* Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
* Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
* Callout Duty: 1 in 4 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct electrical remedial works in both occupied and void properties.
* Perform rewire works as required, primarily in void properties.
* Undertake testing and inspection of electrical systems.
* Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota.
Additional Information:
* Face-to-face interviews will take place at the depot in Corby or Kettering.
* Site-based role covering the North Northamptonshire Council authority area.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in electrical remedial works, testing, and inspection.
* Ability to carry out rewire works to a high standard.
* Flexible and reliable, with the ability to respond to out-of-hours call-outs.
