Are you an electrically bias maintenance engineer looking for a new role? Working in this heavily industrial manufacturing business you will be responsible for all proactive and reactive maintenance.
Working as part of a small close knit team you will need to be proactive with your approach to fit in well.
Based on the ourskirts of Lancaster with easy access to the M6 Lancaster the role offers a 2 day 2 night 4 off shift pattern offering a great work life balance.
Duties of this multi-skilled maintenance engineers role:
To provide an electrical engineering service to the production team and achieve minimum down time
Proactive response in carrying out preventative maintenance duties
Ensuring you are commercially aware of budget and there is the right amount of spares
Look at ways you can continuously improve efficiency and down time
To encourage, motivate and inspire apprentices and trainees
Maintaining a safe working environment and highlighting any safety concerns
Qualifications and personality requirements of a multi-skilled engineer:
You must hold a recognised engineering apprentice (NVQ, BTEC or C&G)
Multi-skilled experience is desirable
70/30 electrical bias is preferred
Experience of Siemens S7 and ELAU controls is advantageous but not essential
Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure

A base salary of £47,653.13 per annum, plus the opportunity for paid overtime.
A holiday allowance of 21 shifts, inclusive of bank holidays, with incremental increases linked to service length.
