Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and preparing test certificates and records to ensure our electrical panels meet safety and compliance standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical panel testing and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
*
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment.
*
Document and report test results, highlighting any defects or compliance concerns.
*
Collaborate with the Production team to ensure all panels are safely tested and meet the customer delivery schedule.
*
Maintain and calibrate testing tools and equipment.
*
Follow risk assessments, method statements, and company safety procedures.
*
Contribute to the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Skills & Experience:
*
Industrial experience within electrical testing environments.
*
Strong understanding of electrical regulations and compliance standards.
*
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*
Commitment to quality, health, and safety protocols.
*
Ability to build electrical panels when required.
Qualifications:
*
18th Edition (BS 7671) – IEE Wiring Regulations or Switchgear Experience (Essential)
*
C&G 2391 – Inspection & Testing (Highly Desirable)
