Job Title: Electrical Supervisor
Location: Covering South Wales- Ideal candidates located in Cardiff or Swansea
Salary: £44,567.44 per annum
Benefits: Fully expensed company vehicle, Strong Pension, BUPA Healthcare, 33 days holidays (inclusive of bank holidays)
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Standby: 1 week in every 4 weeks
We are advertising this Electrical Supervisor role on behalf of a national facilities management client, seeking an experienced individual to lead the electrical team.
Job Description –
* To maintain and repair a range of electrical, mechanical plant and equipment within retail outlets for a key national customer in a cost effective and efficient way.
* Comply with company health and safety policies and procedures. Undertaking regular planned store visits, completing PPM tasks and minor repairs as requested by the customer.
* Work will include multi-skill elements including basic plumbing, joinery and building repairs as well as core electrical tasks.
* Ensure under performance on KPI’s is understood and action plans are in place to drive improvement
* Support the Divisional Account Manager on all technical / electrical issues
* Complete specified reports and compliance documentation and act on any issues raised
* Participate in the recruitment and selection process of vacancies
People Responsibility
This role is currently responsible for managing a team of electricians (around 5). As the business grows the team size may increases accordingly
Qualifications required –
* You must be a fully qualified electrician with City and Guilds 236 Parts 1 and 2 Electrical Installation or NVQ Level 3.
* C&G 2391 Testing and Inspection is desirable for this role but not an essential qualification
* You must have an 18th edition certificate
* You must have a valid UK driving licence
* You must have a flexible attitude to work
* This role also includes a call out rota of 1 in every 4 weeks covering evenings and weekends.
* Please only apply if you are comfortable working on an on-call rota of 1 in every 4 weeks
