This role can be freelanced or temp to perm!
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our growing team. This exciting role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and supervision of EV Charging Stations and Substations/Plant Rooms. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and safety of electrical systems on-site, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard, and managing the electrical team to meet deadlines.
Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of EV Charging Stations and Substations/Plant Rooms.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical safety standards and regulations.
* Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical installations and systems.
* Provide guidance and technical support to the electrical team on site.
* Liaise with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure work is delivered on time and within budget.
* Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems in substations and plant rooms.
* Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, standards, and health and safety regulations.
Electrical Supervisor Requirements:
* Gold ECS Card
* SSSTS / SMSTS
* 2391 Inspection and Testing
* Significant experience in the installation and maintenance of EV Charging Systems and Substations/Plant Rooms.
* Proven experience in a supervisory role, managing electrical teams on complex projects.
* Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, standards, and safety procedures.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
