Job Description

About the Role: Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician looking to work on a prestigious project? Join our Service Delivery team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the M25 Tunnels. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining a variety of electrical systems while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: * Perform planned maintenance and repair work on electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, pumps, fans, VSDs, lighting, and control gear. * Diagnose and repair faults using technical drawings. * Maintain traffic safety systems, including sensors, barriers, and traffic signals on the Dartford Tunnel approach. * Conduct civil, electrical, and mechanical maintenance tasks as needed. * Operate vehicles for maintenance activities. * Ensure vehicles, plant, and equipment are maintained for safe operational use. * Respond to incidents, ensuring a quick and safe resolution. What We’re Looking For: We are looking for a results-driven individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for excellence. You should have: Qualifications: * Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship and relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds). * 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification. * Additional certifications (desirable): Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391), CSCS Safety Card, IPAF, PASMA, MEWPS, G39, and confined spaces training. * First Aid certification. Experience: * Extensive knowledge of electrical maintenance, including generators and switchgear up to 11kV. * Proficiency in fault-finding using schematic drawings. * Understanding of Health & Safety legislation. * Hands-on experience with electrical installation work. Personal Attributes: * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change. * Commitment to zero harm and operational excellence
