Job Description
Electrical Engineer – Rosslare – Europort
Our client is a €500m turnover, multi-disciplined main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake large turnkey projects for blue-chip clientele, in Europe the focus is on Data Centres and similar tech-focussed projects. In Ireland they operate as more of a generalist main contractor working across a variety of industry sectors including healthcare / hospitals, residential, education and industrial
Due to a recent project win, our client is now seeking an Electrical Engineer in Rosslare.
Responsibilities
* Design and Upgrade Electrical Systems: Develop and implement electrical designs for port facilities, including power generation, distribution systems, and terminal operations, ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
* Collaborate on Port Infrastructure Planning: Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to plan and design improvements to port infrastructure, such as terminals and quay facilities, integrating electrical systems seamlessly into the overall development.
* Conduct Environmental and Safety Assessments: Perform assessments to ensure that electrical installations meet environmental regulations and safety standards, contributing to sustainable and secure port operations.
* Manage Project Implementation and Compliance: Oversee the construction and installation phases of electrical projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, budgets, and timelines, while maintaining compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
* Provide Technical Support and Maintenance Planning: Offer ongoing technical support for electrical systems, develop maintenance strategies, and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous and reliable port operations.
Requirements
Must have minimum of 3+ Years experience in a similar role
Must have experience on similar projects
