Electrical Design Engineer
Leeds
Initial 6-month contract (likelihood of extension)
Rates: £45.00p/h - £50.00p/h (Outside IR35)
Electrical / Control Systems / Medium - Heavy Engineering / AutoCAD Electrical
I am working with a key client based in West Yorkshire who require an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for an initial 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.
As a skilled Electrical Design Engineer, you will require to conduct the following duties:
Design of control systems using AutoCAD Electrical
Working on mechanical handling equipment
Conducting basic hand calculations
Communicate with suppliers
Work closely with the electrical engineers to ensure deadlines are met
Occasional site visits where necessary
The successful Electrical Design Engineer will need to have the following attributes:
Keen eye for detail within design and draughting
Highly experienced user of AutoCAD Electrical
Worked on complex control systems on relays, contactors and other electrical components within medium to heavy engineering
Strong communication skills, working closely with electrical engineers
18th Edition Wiring Regs (preferable)
The benefits of this position:

Day shifts working Monday to Friday
