We have a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest Electrical contractors working on iconic schemes across London. A contractor with a rich heritage and diverse portfolio of work around the commercial and Mission critical sectors, they boast a very good order book in the coming years on projects up to £50 Million plus in value. Due to successful growth plans being achieved they are seeking to hire an Electrical Commissioning Manager to go into the commissioning team on a permanent basis. Roles and responsibilities: * To manage, lead and coordinate projects in all matters relating to Commissioning Management and Validation Electrical BMS and controls and all specialist engineering services. * Coordinate and liaise with the Engineering and Design teams to ensure proposals are in line with commissioning requirements * Arranging of witnessing and management of testing teams * To manage, lead and coordinate all matters relating to those specific sites from Commissioning Management and Validation perspective. * To manage the Commissioning Management and Validation Services as required by the Business Assurance Scheme (QA) * To be responsible for all aspects of site safety for yourself and others including risk assessment, method statements. The ideal candidate: * Will be computer literate, happy to interact with client and get stuck in on site * Experience working in the commercial or data centre sector * Ideally the candidate will have subcontracted to main contractors such as Sir Robert McAlpine, ISG, Mace, Wates, etc. * Have the right forward thinking attitude In return they offer: * A competitive salary * Package * Strong Pipeline of work * An opportunity to develop and progress your career
