Early Career Teacher (ECT) - Primary School - Central Northampton
Simply Education is proud to be working alongside a supportive and welcoming primary school in Central Northampton that is seeking a motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to start their teaching journey in a nurturing and progressive school environment. The position is available to start in the coming weeks, with both part-time and full-time contracts available, offering the flexibility to suit your work-life balance.
The Role:
This Key Stage 2 (KS2) ECT Teacher position is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher looking to develop their skills and gain hands-on classroom experience. You will teach a Year 3 or Year 4 class, deliver engaging and creative lessons, and inspire students to achieve their potential - all while being fully supported by a dedicated teaching team.
What We Are Looking For:
To be considered for this ECT position, you will need to demonstrate:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) (PGCE, GTP, or Bachelor of Education).
✅ A passion for teaching and supporting pupil progress within Key Stage 2.
✅ Strong classroom management skills and the desire to develop and refine your practice.
✅ Creativity and enthusiasm when planning and delivering engaging lessons.
✅ A proactive, positive, and flexible approach, with a willingness to work collaboratively.
✅ A commitment to nurturing pupils' academic and personal growth.
Essential Requirements:
🔍 Two years of referencing history
📄 Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
