Early Career Teacher (ECT) - Primary School - Daventry
Simply Education is delighted to be working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Daventry that is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their teaching career in a nurturing and progressive school environment. The Role:
This Key Stage 2 (KS2) ECT Teacher role is ideal for an ambitious and driven teacher looking to gain hands-on classroom experience. You will be teaching a Year 3 or Year 4 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons, and helping pupils progress academically and personally - all while being fully supported by an experienced and collaborative teaching team.
What We're Looking For:
To be considered for this role, you should:
✅ Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) (PGCE, GTP, or Bachelor of Education).
✅ Have a passion for teaching and inspiring pupils within Key Stage 2.
✅ Show strong classroom and behaviour management skills or demonstrate a willingness to develop these further.
✅ Be creative, enthusiastic, and confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
✅ Be a team player with a positive and proactive approach.
✅ Be committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential.
Essential Requirements:
🔍 Two years of referencing history
📄 Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
