Job Description

At Cavendish Nuclear we're working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as an EC&I Craftsperson at our Cumbria site on a 12 month contract. The Role As an EC&I Craftsperson, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be integral to the repair, maintenance, calibration, and testing of EC&I components within Radiation Protection Instruments to ensure our customer's project demands are met in accordance with quality and safety standards. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Work to maintain instructions and record information accurately Conform to local procedures, rules and working practices to ensure compliance with specified regulatory and customer requirements Provide technical advice, updates on work progress and other relevant information to customer as required You To succeed within the role of an EC&I Craftsperson, you'll have experience in a similar position and have the following skills: Electrical bias preferred but multidiscipline experience will be considered Apprenticeship or equivalent training in relevant discipline (e.g. Electronic, Electrical, Instrumentation, Technology fields) Knowledge and understanding of conventional and nuclear safety Proven experience of servicing electronic instrument systems 5 GCSEs (at Grade C or above) including English, a Science subject, and Maths at minimum of Grade B Background This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global business that has developed a strategy of working closely with its contingent workforce.
