The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced EC&I Commissioning Technician, to join a well-established nuclear consultancy driving sustianble solutions, where you will be responsible for reporting to the Commissioning Engineer.  Employment Type: Contract This role has been deemed inside IR35  Duration: 12 months  Your duties and responsibilities will be  Ensuring Safety is the highest priority on the project with a continued strive towards Zero Harm. He ensures that he is a role model for all aspects of safety, ensuring a proactive approach to nuclear, radiological, conventional and environmental safety Carrying out all testing activities throughout all stages of commissioning Contributing to the production of test documentation Contributing to the initiation and implementation of FOBs and TQs Performing testing activities for witnessing by third parties Application and removal of Temporary Commissioning Aids Contributing to the recording of supporting data in accordance with test requirements. Ability to utilise completions management systems to manage commissioning activities. Ability to perform commissioning work against a project schedule. Ability to take part in multi discipline design reviews and work with the engineering team.You will have the following qualifications and experience  Time served or equivalent in an engineering discipline e.g. piping or electrical discipline. Preference for ONC or equivalent or route to achieve the qualification. Project commissioning experience. IOSH Working Safely or equivalent.It’s great if you also have the following Design Tools/Software: Go Completions Microsoft suiteThe setting for the role Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a nuclear licenced site. These can include, nuclear fuel, radiation, chemicals and gasses, high voltage equipment, moving vehicles, flammable materials, high pressure circuits, steam, high noise and vibration levels. A full site induction will be provided and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the site.
