Job Description
EAL Teaching Assistant - St Albans
A vibrant and diverse school in St Albans is looking for an EAL Teaching Assistant to support students with English as an Additional Language (EAL). This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to students' academic and linguistic development.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with EAL students to improve their English language skills.
Support students in accessing the curriculum and achieving their potential.
Develop resources and activities tailored to the needs of EAL learners.
Collaborate with teachers to ensure EAL students receive appropriate support.Requirements:
Experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with EAL or language support experience.
Strong understanding of language acquisition and learning strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient and encouraging approach to working with students.Salary:
£95-115 per day (depending on experience and qualifications).
