Job Title: Driver Location: Gloucester Salary: Competitive Job Type: Full Time (40 hours) - Permanent About Us: Ridgeway Facades are a successful, family owned company specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of glazed aluminium facades. Due to an increased order book, we have a requirement for a full-time driver to deliver to various construction sites across the UK. Non driving time will be occupied assisting the Stores Manager in the control of goods in and goods out. About the role: Assisting the store manager with general warehousing duties and carrying out deliveries where required. Duties and Responsibilities: Delivering goods to various sites in company vehicles (3.5t - 18t) Effectively receive goods inward, including checking paperwork to ensure accuracy To ensure the correct and timely distribution of materials, as directed by the Factory Production Manager and Storeman, to minimise non-productive time in the factoryAbout you: The ideal candidate must be an enthusiastic team player, with an attention to detail. A licence to drive rigid vehicles up to 7.5t is required as a minimum. A forklift licence would be preferred although full training will be offered. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential to the role.
