Job Description

Driver Labourer Coventry based Full time Role – 40 hours per week £12.50 per hour We are recruiting for a skilled and professional driver labourer to join an existing team based in Coventry. The role of driver labourer is a mixed and varied role and is imperative to the organisation in representing the company in a positive light both in customer service and timely deliveries of goods. This role is readily available and can start as soon as possible for the right candidate. The responsibilities of the driver labourer: * Work within the warehouse and despatch departments to help manage goods * Prepare and load vehicle in a secure and safe manner * Local and regional delivery of goods to customers * Associated notes and POD are signed and correctly completed * Ensure the load and vehicle is secure and safe at all times * Stores and stock control duties when required Skills required for the driver labourer role: * Full UK driving licence upto 3.5 tonne * Commercial experience in driving vans * Experience with flat bed or drop box vehicle is ideal * Have warehouse or manufacturing experience * Be presentable and polite using customer service skills * Have knowledge of midlands roads and the motorway network * Experience with rachet straps ideal Specifics of the driver labourer role: * £26000 basic salary * Overtime available at premium rates * Core hours are 0830 – 1700 (but flexibility may be required at times) * Monday to Friday role * 28 days holiday entitlement * Pension enrolment * Ongoing support and training If the role of driver labourer is of interest and you match the criteria, apply today
