Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Door Canvassers to join our team in the ever-growing retrofit market. This role involves engaging directly with homeowners to raise awareness about energy-efficient home improvement solutions, such as insulation, heating system upgrades, and renewable energy installations. As a Door Canvasser, you will be the face of our company, initiating conversations, building rapport, and generating leads for our installation services.
This is a self-employed position with weekly payment turnarounds once installed (typical install time anywhere from 1-3 weeks) Rates vary from £175 - £850 depending on the measure installed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Knock on doors in assigned neighbourhoods to introduce our retrofit services.
* Educate homeowners about the benefits of energy-efficient upgrades, including cost savings, improved comfort, and environmental impact.
* Identify potential customers and secure their interest by booking free home assessments or consultations.
* Address basic homeowner questions and concerns; refer complex inquiries to the appropriate team members.
* Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly lead generation targets.
* Represent the company professionally and uphold its values of sustainability and customer service.
Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Comfortable speaking with strangers and handling objections with confidence and tact.
* Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic understanding of energy efficiency and home retrofitting is a plus but not required (training provided).
* Previous experience in door-to-door sales, canvassing, or customer service is an advantage.
* Must be reliable, punctual, and goal-oriented.
