Job Description

Domestic Abuse Engagement Worker (Short-Term Contract) Pembrokeshire Area £23,000 - £23,500 per annum Brook Street Social Care are working with a local domestic abuse charity who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Engagement Worker to join their team on a short-term contract in the Pembrokeshire area. In this role, you will focus on raising awareness of domestic abuse support services and increasing the charity's footprint and reach within the community. Key Responsibilities: Raise awareness of domestic abuse and the support services available through outreach activities. Build relationships with local communities, organisations, and stakeholders to expand the charity's presence. Develop and implement referral pathways to ensure individuals can access appropriate support. Provide information and guidance on domestic abuse resources, ensuring clear communication and understanding. Actively promote the charity's services and encourage engagement from those in need of support.Essential Skills & Experience: Understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on individuals and communities. Experience in outreach, community engagement, or similar roles. Ability to create and maintain effective referral pathways.
