Job Title: Dispatch Operative
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm
Hourly Rate: £12.00 per hour
Start Date: Immediately
Our highly established client based in Letchworth Garden City are looking for a Dispatch Operative to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who can be well-rounded and perform a number of different tasks, both Warehouse & IT based.
Main duties as a Dispatch Operative:
- Load and unloading deliveries coming to and from the warehouse
- Pack and prepare finished production to be readied for dispatch
- Quality inspection on all finished production
- Prepare labels for orders
- Heavy lifting of loads, up to 20kg
- Liaise with the Production & Management team to ensure orders are correctly sorted in good time
- Use of Microsoft excel to ensure all deliveries are correctly booked in/out
What's needed as a Dispatch Operative:
- Must have experience within Excel/IT use
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg
- Must have experience working within a Goods in/out environment
- Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to new tasks/environments
- Must be over 23 years of age and available immediately
- Team player and good communication skills
