Arcas Technology is partnered with a leading MSP who are currently looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis.

My client is seeking a talented individual to join their growing team, providing exceptional support to a diverse range of clients while working with cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities:
* Provide 1st and 2nd line desktop support to end users, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
* Manage and configure Windows 10 desktops, including application deployment and user profile management.
* Assist with device setups and deployments using Intune/AutoPilot for streamlined provisioning.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Active Directory, group policies, and user access management.
* Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.
* Support virtualisation environments (VMware/Nutanix) by addressing end-user related challenges.
* Collaborate with the Infrastructure and Projects teams on deployment and upgrade activities.
* Ensure adherence to security policies, contributing to a robust and secure environment (CyberEssentials, CI Security).
Key Skills:
* Strong experience in Windows 10 desktop management and troubleshooting.
* Familiarity with Intune/AutoPilot for device deployment and configuration.
* Proficiency in Active Directory administration, including group policies and permissions.
* Basic understanding of virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Nutanix.
* Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, and basic physical/logical network troubleshooting.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance to end users.
