The salary for this position is between £35,000 - £38,000 per annum and is located in Manchester. Salary and Package for a Desktop Motor Engineer: Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum Hours: Monday - Friday, between 9am - 5pm Location: Manchester/hybrid working is available Contract Type: PermanentKey Responsibilities of a Desktop Motor Engineer: Overseeing all aspects of motor inspections to evaluate and audit estimates before authorising repairs efficiently Making and communicating decisions when managing total losses, valuation disputes, and cases involving unrelated damage and complaints Building relationships with repairers, business partners and suppliers to ensure the smooth processing of claims Inspecting all vehicles within agreed service level timeframes Keeping up to date with the internal processes and external market and legislative changesKey Skills and Experience of a Desktop Motor Engineer: The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys working in a high-growth environment and is highly adaptable to change Computer proficient with the ability to easily adapt to new systems A comprehensive knowledge of motor vehicles and modern repair techniques is required Relevant experience in a similar role of a minimum of 2 years Audatex Trained is essential A current membership of either IAEA / IMI / IRTE / ATA /VDA is essentialIf you have the relevant skills and membership required for this role, please apply now!
