About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to lead the design coordination for a multi-million-pound commercial development in Cornwall. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a prestigious large-scale project, overseeing the full design lifecycle from pre-construction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the design process for a high-value commercial construction project.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure design compliance and efficiency.
Ensure that designs align with client requirements, building regulations, and industry standards.
Identify and resolve design challenges to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
Work closely with the site team to integrate design solutions effectively during construction.
Conduct regular design review meetings and provide technical guidance as needed.
Ensure adherence to CDM regulations and best practices for health & safety.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Design Manager on large-scale commercial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, and design coordination.
Experience in managing design for multi-million-pound developments is essential.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant design software is advantageous.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.What We Offer:
