Company Overview: Reginald Gray is working with a long-standing client who is looking to appoint a Design Manager for a £40M prime residential project in the Cotswolds. This contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality bespoke projects, particularly within the high-end residential sector. Job Overview: This role would suit a Design Manager with an architectural background, ideally experienced in delivering complex, high-value residential projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design process from pre-construction through to project completion, ensuring smooth coordination between all stakeholders and maintaining the highest design and build standards. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage the design process, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines. * Work closely with architects, consultants, and contractors to deliver a high-quality project. * Ensure compliance with planning regulations, building control, and conservation requirements. * Identify and mitigate design risks, providing proactive solutions to challenges. * Lead design meetings, ensuring smooth communication and coordination. * Oversee technical reviews, clash detection, and drawing/specification coordination. * Support site teams with design-related queries and ensure smooth project delivery. Key Requirements: * Preferably from an architectural background, with strong technical and design coordination experience. * Proven track record working on high-end residential or complex bespoke projects. * Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning laws, and conservation principles. * Ability to liaise with high-profile clients, designers, and consultants to maintain exceptional project standards. * Experience delivering projects in the £20M+ range is highly desirable. * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
