Job Title : Design Lead
Location : Leicester
Salary : £45 - £50k per annum DOE plus bonus scheme
Hours : Monday to Friday, permanent role

In this role you will Lead the planning, execution, monitoring and closure of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and within budget.
The Role:
• Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely mitigation and resolution/escalation to avoid disruptions to project outcomes.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to optimise project performance.
• Ensure effective communication and reporting with stakeholders at all levels, including progress updates, milestone achievements, Steering meetings and budget tracking.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts to capture and document project requirements and define project scope.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing lessons learned and best practices
• Provide leadership, training, coaching and guidance to junior staff.
Requirements :
• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Design Lead, ideally within a joinery or similar industry.
• Relevant qualifications in project management are preferred.
• Highly organised and analytical with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and negotiate effectively across diverse teams.
• Experience in budget management and financial forecasting for technology projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and devise effective solutions.
• A self-starter with the ability to prioritise and plan own workload, managing deadlines and other constraints.
• Proven team player who enjoys working with and supporting colleagues.
