Job Description
Design Coordinator, Hertfordshire*
A reputable, high-end developer based in Hertfordshire is currently recruiting a Design Coordinator to join their experienced team. Predominately office based, you will work alongside another experienced Design Coordinator and the Design & Planning Manager.
Main Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Supporting management of the Design Team.
Ensuring the design process recognises current legislation, standards and codes of practice.
Ensuring design information is of the right quality and keeps pace with project timescale.
Ensure proper coordination between different design teams.
Attending Housing Association start-up meetings and coordinating relevant actions.
Ensuring consultants provide the necessary information to required programme.
Commenting on architectural planning and working drawings
Building Regs submissions.
Assisting with discharging of planning condition.Ideally, you will already have some experience working for a developer and have experience of working on large residential schemes, however, job running architects or Technologists will also be considered.
