As Deputy Nurse Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the highest standards of care are consistently met. You’ll play a pivotal role in day-to-day operations, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring the well-being of residents. This position is perfect for an experienced professional ready to bring their clinical expertise and leadership skills to the forefront.
What we’re looking for:
Professional Registration: Registered Nurse (NMC pin) with proven leadership experience, ideally as a Clinical Lead or Deputy Manager.
Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and nursing home best practices.
Organizational Skills: Demonstrated experience in rota management, audits, and driving quality improvements.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Your day-to-day
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a dedicated nursing team to achieve excellence in care delivery.
Rota Management: Oversee staff scheduling, ensuring optimal coverage to meet resident needs.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and drive continuous improvement.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the Home Manager on operational planning and implementing strategic initiatives.
Clinical Expertise: Act as a clinical role model, providing expert guidance and hands-on support to the team.
