Are you an experienced residential care worker seeking a new challenge and career progression? We are seeking a Deputy Manager to join our team in our 6 bedded residential children's home.
Our service is a small provider of residential children's homes located near Bacup. We are a supportive, inclusive and rewarding company who value their employees and aim to support all staff to reach their full potential.
Deputy Manager Responsibilities:
* Supervise children in a safe and nurturing environment.
* Ensure the safeguarding of children and young people is prioitised at all times
* Lead and support a team of senior residential care workers, shift leaders and residential care workers.
* Provide a stimulating and educational environment for children.
* Plan and implement activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional development of children.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
* Ensure the safety of the children at all times.
* Communicate with parents and social workers about their child's progress and development.
* Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence
* Complete staff supervisions
* Support with the on call rota
