Significant experience as an Assistant Headteacher or in a similar senior leadership position.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A strong track record in pastoral leadership, with the ability to lead and enhance support systems for students.
A deep commitment to the welfare, personal development, and safeguarding of students.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
A collaborative approach to leadership and a proven ability to work closely with senior leaders, teachers, and parents.
A strategic mindset, with the ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement in both student outcomes and wellbeing.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the pastoral care of students, ensuring that systems of support are in place to foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
Work closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to implement school policies and contribute to whole-school development.
Take a strategic approach to student wellbeing, mental health, and behaviour, providing strong guidance to staff and students.
Lead the development and implementation of strategies to improve student engagement, attendance, and achievement.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies to support students.
Provide leadership, support, and mentorship to staff, particularly in relation to pastoral responsibilities.What we offer:
