Delivery Driver
Permanent Role
Up to £29000 per annum + benefits
We are seeking a professional delivery driver to join an existing logistics team in the Minworth are of Birmingham.
This role is critical to the smooth operation of the site and requires a skilled and professional delivery driver to deliver excellent customer service alongside safe driving and correct paperwork at all times.
Ideally you will have a 7.5 tonne licence but drivers with 3.5 tonne entitlement will also be considered.
Responsibilities of a delivery driver:
* Load own vehicle each morning safely and securely
* Ensure all routes are planned, taking into consideration accidents, vehicle size and high traffic levels
* Work alongside a drivers mate
* Delivery furniture products including sofas, beds and dining furniture
* Basic assembly and room of choice delivery
* Associated POD and paperwork
* Provide excellent customer service as the face of the business
* Complete vehicle checks and report all incidents
Requirements of a delivery driver:
* Must hold a minimum of 3.5 tonne UK entitlement, ideally 7.5 tonne licence
* Ideally hold CPC and Digicard
* Have professional delivery driving experience
* Be happy to travel long distances
* Be happy to multidrop and complete physically demanding work
* Clean licence
* Be smart and presentable
