Job Description
Arden White Aerospace and Aviation Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading company in the electric vehicle (EV) sector to find a passionate and technically-skilled DC Operations Specialist to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the future of clean transportation and play a key role in the EV charging network’s success.
Boasting a strong starting salary of between £39,000 - £44,000 + 8%+ annual bonus + Hybrid working (2 days from home) + Food subsidy + Energy bill contribution + Pension + More!
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the commissioning, re-commissioning, and decommissioning of public charging solutions across the UK.
* Collaborate with teams in Mobility, Engineering, and IT to ensure timely delivery and first-time-right installation of charge points.
* Drive continuous improvement projects and support the development of operational processes.
* Handle daily charger incidents, providing problem-solving expertise and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
* Monitor and track the performance of chargers, working to improve uptime and success rates.
* Ensure the smooth go-live of chargers, managing their integration into the public network.
* Apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to charger performance, payment processing, and network connectivity.
* Travel to forecourts and destination sites for testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
* Follow HSSE processes to maintain a safe working environment.
Person Specification:
* Experience: At least 2 years in a similar role within a B2B environment. Experience with Agile settings, process management, and process improvement is advantageous.
* Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol), ability to diagnose error codes, and a solid understanding of troubleshooting charger issues. Electrical engineering education or experience is a plus.
* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical ability, with an eye for detail and data-driven problem solving.
* Communication: Fluent in English (C1 level), with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Attributes: Goal-oriented, highly structured, and strategic in approach. Must be collaborative, authentic, and able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
* Additional: A driving license is a plus, but not required.
