Job Description

JOB TITLE: DATA QUALITY LEAD CLIENT: GLOBAL SUPERMAJOR (OIL AND GAS) ASSIGNMENT TYPE: RESIDENTIAL CONTRACT ROLE CONTRACT LENGTH: INITAL 1 YEAR CONTRACT (ANNAULLY RENEWABLE) LOCATION: ESBJERG, DENMARK WORK SCHEDULE: MONDAY - FRIDAY (40 HOURS PER WEEK) WFH: UP TO 2 DAYS A WEEK DEPARTMENT: DIGITAL TRANSFORM. & INNOVATION SCOPE OF WORK - Run the existing data quality workflow, create new and required ones, with Tales of Data, be the Tale of data Key user for CLIENT and liaise with HQ for improvements if needed - Coach CLIENT Data Stewards in setting up Data Quality Management (DQM) including dashboards & KPI's, and drive data quality improvements. - Assist the Head of Data Management in monitoring Data Quality KPI's - Identify Data Management issues and assist CLIENT Data Stewards in doing Root Cause Analysis - Suggest Data Governance changes to Head of Data Management to be approved by Data Domain Owner, Data Governance Board or to be escalated to Data Office at HQ  - Promote Data Management best practices and tracking progress (ref. Group 'DMBoK' maturity assessment guide - Support the Quantum evolution project plan for 2025 (to be further defined jointly within the team) ACTIVITIES BACKGROUND/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE - Good knowledge of Data Management topics ref. DMBok /CDMP certified - Experience with Continuous Improvement / Root Cause Analysis, preferably within Data Quality Management - Good understanding of the E&P business and its operations - Understanding of Data's special position in the company at the crossroads between business and IT - Understanding of the role and importance of fit-for-purpose data and Data Quality Management in the Digital Transformation - Business language is English. Knowledge of Danish/Norwegian and/or French is a plus
