Job Description
We are currently working with a leading UK support services provider to recruit a Data Governance Manager, to work predominantly on a remote basis with occasional travel to a site in the Rotherham area once or twice a month
We are ideally looking for a Data Manager with experience of establishing and running a data warehouse function. Creating and overseeing effective high-level approaches that solve data and ETL challenges allowing the business to meet its contractual, legal and growth objectives.
You will lead the development of data architectures, models, and data management processes that support the company's data strategy. Manage the data lifecycle, including data ingestion, transformation, storage, and retrieval
Requirements:
* Transformation of disparate data sources to a warehouse model.
* Experience in a data governance role with practical examples in implementing data management frameworks
* Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, Looker
* Power BI and other reporting technologies.
* Strategic, Analytical, problem-solving thinking
* Leadership,Challenge & Communication
* Commercial Understanding
* Project Management
* InnovationExcellent written and visual presentation skills.
