Data Centre Shift Manager - 65k + Bonus - Slough - Client Direct
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Data Centre Shift Manager to join a leading organisation in Slough’s Data Centre operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a solid background in data centre operations, including holding a valid HV ticket.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a small shift team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the data centre.
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of subcontractors on-site daily.
* Monitor and maintain high operational standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Ensure the timely response to any technical issues or emergencies that may arise, coordinating with relevant teams as needed.
* Regularly review and report on operational performance to senior management.
Essential Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a Data Centre environment, with hands-on knowledge of operations and procedures.
* Previous HV experience is required for this role
* Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with contractors and other stakeholders effectively.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining high service standards.
Desirable Skills:
* Additional technical qualifications related to electrical engineering are essential
* Experience working in mission-critical facilities with a focus on uptime and reliability.
