Daily Supply Teaching Assistant
Start: ASAP
Contract: Part Time
Location: Croydon
Rate: £90 - £100 Per day
Insight Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate supply teaching assistant who is willing to support key stage 1&2 within a Primary School in Croydon. This role offers the flexibility to work in different schools, delivering high-quality teaching and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of regular class teachers.
Requirements for a Supply Teaching assistant:
* Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
* Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
* Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
