South East Birmingham, commutable from Birmingham, Redditch, Coventry
£34000-£37000 + flexible hours + overtime + Benefits + 25 days leave
39 Hours, Mon-Fri, short day on Friday, start time at either 6AM or 7AM
Are you an experienced Cylindrical Grinder looking for a new challenge and the option to work hours to suit you?
On offer is the opportunity to work with a specialist company that operates internationally and a leader in the industry who have operated for over four decades to build a reputation of high quality.
This international business produce components for a variety of industries including automotive and aerospace. Their customer requirements change constantly as they continue to provide precision engineering solutions.
In this role you will be operating electrically and manually operated machinery to enable correct machining of parts, working to design specifications. You will be provided with training and there is the opportunity for technical progression.
The ideal candidate has experience as a Cylindrical Grinder and is looking to join a growing company that has established its name with multi national clients.
The role:
Permanent role within the manufacturing sector offering flexible hours to suit
Operating machinery such as Jones and Shipman 1302 grinder, plus Mitutoyo clocks and Vernier's
Utilise manual tooling to set up working operations
Working to a high level of accuracy
The Person
Working experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment
Advanced grinding skills and ability to set machine controls
Able to read engineering drawings
