Customs Clearance Specialist
My client are experts in Customs Clearance with direct link to major UK ports and airports.
Customs Clearance is a very demanding role and will be part of a larger team.
We are seeking a proactive Customs Clearance specialist covering all modes of transport to enhance the team, with a strength in Far East Ocean background.
Hours
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pmSalary - Dependant on Experience
Advantageous to be a driver due to location, as not on direct public transport links.
Overview:
Proven track record of at least 2 years working in a small to medium sized freight forwarder and covered a wide range of customs clearance duties.
Experience with processing & completing entries using CDS (Must include either Deep Sea Ocean freight clearance or European road freight clearances)
Navigating HMRC online tariffs
Customs commodity codes and procedures.
FTA knowledge or Origin and Preference
CNS & Destin8 system experience
Will arrange an array of important clearance for key clients
Processing high level clearances promptly
Excellent communication skills
HMRC Customs Clearance essential.
Communicating with various customers, suppliers and sub-contractors to obtain and provide required information to process customs clearance accurately and compliant within HMRC guidelines.
Strong attention to detail.
