We are currently looking to recruit an energetic and focused Curriculum Manager for the Electrical department of an award-winning college in Surrey.
This position will support the Head of School and lead the provision across the subject area. You will be charged with ensuring that the pupils receive the highest levels of education, enabling them to achieve and develop long lasting employability skills in their chosen profession or progression onwards into higher education.
The role combines leadership and management of the curriculum alongside being and active member of the departments teaching team.
Responsibilities include:
The effective management of the curriculum delivery including oversight of recruitment, enrolment, retention, achievement, and success
Ensuring that the electrical team deliver high quality education and training
Supporting the Head of School regarding budgeting and performance
Supporting the delivery team by leading on relevant themes or areas in relation to objectives of curriculum as directed
Communicating the policies and procedures across the curriculum area and team
Target-setting and performance management, ensuring that all staff deliver them to a high qualityYou will need:
Comprehensive knowledge of the government policy within the curriculum with a thorough understanding of evidence-based teaching, learning and assessment
Highly developed information management skills and the proven ability to use standard College systems
Solid teaching and/or pastoral skills with a history of good student outcomes and the ability to act strategically
Ability to foster credible working relationships with colleagues and demonstrate leadership in previous roles
You will be able to evidence the ability to implement curriculum changes that have resulted in improved outcomesBenefits include:
