Job Description

Creative Designer – Mid Weight Full time | Permanent Leicestershire Salary Depending on level of experience Our retail design agency clients based in Leicestershire are looking for a full time and permanent mid weight creative designer to join their busy team in a full time and permanent role. The successful candidate will come from a retail design background working on 3D conceptual designs for retail spaces that engage customers through brand objectives from initial ideas to delivery. Key Responsibilities: * Lead brainstorming sessions, translate client briefs into innovative and compelling 3D retail design concepts which strongly communicate the brand ethos and key propositions on display. * Create detailed 3D renderings, sketches, and mood boards to visually communicate design concepts and aesthetic direction. As part of this ability to shape and create graphics which support 3d elements are key. * Develop comprehensive spatial layouts and floor plans that optimise traffic flow, enhance product visibility, and maximise retail space efficiency. * Curate materials, finishes, and fixtures that align with brand aesthetics, durability requirements, and budget constraints. * Produce high-quality physical or digital prototypes and virtual walkthroughs to provide clients with realistic previews of proposed designs. * Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, development designers, and account managers, to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with project timelines and budgets. * design concepts and project updates to clients, digest feedback, and incorporate revisions to ensure client satisfaction and project success. * Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in retail design to continuously innovate and inspire the design process. The Candidate: * Previous Creative Retail design experience ideally 2 years + * Proficient in 3DS Studio Max or equivalent and ideally sketchup & cinema * Able to produce, exciting, engaging and innovative retail solutions * Excellent communicator, previous experience of working externally directly with clients and suppliers as well as in house teams (Account Managers, Project Managers, design teams, manufacturing) * Excellent attention to detail and able to work to time constraints
