Job Description
As a Creative Director with this top tier Design and Build office fit-out company you will be responsible for producing detailed design solutions on their highest profile design projects. You will be involved in the whole process from taking the clients brief and pitching through to the completion of the project on site.
Excellent pitching skills are a must along with the ability to really engage with clients and nurture that relationship throughout the process is key to repeat business. Being commercially minded and able to design within a budget and to tight time scales will be a huge asset to the team.

Key Responsibilities:
Attend first appointments creating a positive first impression
Accurately take the client’s brief
Complete architectural site surveys and building analysis
Develop concept designs for the client, taking the client brief, brand identity, budget and timescales into consideration
Maintain project timescales achieve deadlines
Produce relevant storyboards, drawing, sketches, text and data for the pitch proposal
Expertly present your designs to the client
Successfully work with the client team to bring the concept design to life by selecting all finishes, agreeing layouts and design details
Manage how design changes are communicated to the team
Design to building control regulations
Maintain the company’s Carbon Emissions Strategies
Overseeing the production of the technical design
Assess, update and maintain all relevant design documentation
Attend project meetings regularly checking that works comply with the signed off design
Complete comprehensive snagging at the end of the project
Contribute to the development of the studio work practices, improving team pipelines, workflows and developing your knowledge of the latest workplace practices Key Skills:
Previous Design and Build experience
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, InDesign, Adobe Suite
Knowledge of Revit would be a bonus
