Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Materials Handler/ FLT Driver to join our Operations team. Duties Include: Your core duties will be loading and unloading of various types of distribution and power transformers utilising the overhead crane. Transporting and processing various materials across two sites using FLT and Company van Using general workshop machinery and hand tools related the role Quality inspection of colleague’s output Maximise the uptime of operations by delivering materials in a timely manner Performance of area housekeeping activities, including the prompt reporting of problems shortages or equipment breakdown Experience required: Hands on experience of working within a manufacturing environment required Counter Balance FLT essential to 7 tonnes Full driving licence required Overhead crane/lifting slinging experience desirable The ability to understand mechanical and schematic drawings Flexible approach with hours and a willingness to work across other areas of the business Working Hours 37.5 (Nine Day Fortnight): Week 1 - 7.45 am and 4.45 pm Monday to Thursday Week 2 - 7.45 am to 4.45 pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45 am to 15.15 pm on Friday Skills Required FLT Counterbalance Warehouse op Driving Licence Keywords FLT Counterbalance Overhead crane/lifting slinging
